What we do

Four services, one truck, no shop visit

Alloy wheel repair

Curb rash, gouges, scuffs and scrapes cut back, reprofiled and refinished to the original factory color so the wheel matches the rest of the set.

Wheel straightening

Bent, buckled and out-of-round rims from potholes and impacts trued back toward spec — the usual fix for a vibration or a slow bead leak.

Wheel refinishing

Peeling clear coat, oxidation and blotchy faces stripped and refinished. Over 40 finishes stocked, from machined face and hyper silver to satin black and bronze.

Paint-free dent removal

Door dings, cart hits, lot rash and hail dimples massaged out without filler, primer or a paint booth. The factory paint stays factory.

How mobile service works

Four steps, one visit

Send us a photo

Call (818) 497-8199 or text a photo of the damage. A face shot plus a close-up is usually enough for a price without anyone driving anywhere.

We give you a price and a window

You get the per-wheel cost up front and an arrival window. Same-day is available across most of Los Angeles County depending on where the truck already is that day.

We come to the car

Home, office, apartment garage, dealership, body shop or storage lot. We need a parking space next to the vehicle. You don't take time off and you don't sit in a waiting room.

Repaired, refinished, cured, done

The damage is corrected, the finish is matched and cured on site, and we walk the wheels with you before we take payment. Most single-wheel jobs finish in one visit.

Drivers

One curbed wheel, no shop visit

Most of our retail work starts the same way: a tight parking structure, an unfamiliar curb, and a rim that now looks worse than the rest of the car. Replacing an OEM alloy is expensive, and it's rarely necessary — most curb damage is cosmetic and repairable.

We meet you where the car already is, repair it while you work, and match the finish so the wheel reads original. If you're returning a lease, we guarantee the areas we repair pass inspection or we refund the repair.

Trade & wholesale

Dealers, shops, carriers and fleets

We run trade accounts for used car lots, franchise dealerships, auto body shops, insurance carriers and rental or commercial fleets — discounted per-wheel rates for repeat business, batch scheduling, and one itemized invoice against your stock or RO numbers.

Because we work on site, the unit stays in your inventory and your recon queue keeps moving. No crating, no courier, no stall tied up waiting on a wheel to come back.

The lease-return guarantee

Pass inspection on the wheels we repair, or we refund the repair

Lease contracts allow normal depreciation but charge for "excess wear and tear," and a scraped rim is one of the easiest line items for a dealer to write up. Our repair costs a fraction of that chargeback. If the wheels we corrected don't pass, you get the repair cost back — the guarantee covers the areas we worked on.

Common questions

Before you call

Can a curbed alloy wheel actually be repaired, or do I need a new one?

Almost all curb rash is cosmetic and repairable. The gouged area is cut back, reprofiled and refinished to the factory color. Replacement is only necessary when the wheel is structurally compromised — severe buckling, or cracks in a high-load area. We tell you which one you have before we start.

Do I have to bring the car anywhere?

No. Ace Auto Recon is 100% mobile. We come to your home, office, apartment garage, dealership, body shop or storage lot anywhere in Los Angeles County. We need a parking space beside the vehicle and nothing else.

How long does it take?

Most single-wheel repairs are finished in one visit, and same-day service is available across most of Los Angeles County depending on the day's route. Full four-wheel refinishing takes longer — we'll give you the time estimate when we quote.

Will the repaired wheel match my other three?

That's the point of the job. We stock over 40 factory-match finishes — silver, hyper silver, machined face, gunmetal, charcoal, gloss and satin black, bronze — covering most domestic, import and luxury applications.

I'm turning in a lease. Is repairing the wheels worth it?

Usually, yes. Excess wear-and-tear chargebacks on damaged rims are typically well above what the repair costs, and we guarantee the areas we repair pass inspection or we refund the repair. Get it done before the inspection, not after the bill.

Do you work with dealers and body shops?

Yes. We run trade accounts with discounted per-wheel rates for used car lots, franchise dealerships, auto body shops, insurance carriers and rental or commercial fleets, with batch scheduling and single-invoice billing.

Text us a photo of the wheel

Most quotes take one picture and one phone call. We'll tell you what it costs, whether it's repairable, and when we can be there.
